# How to signup or create an account?

To create an account on SMSrush please follow the below steps carefully.

1. Visit <https://smsrush.net> and click on Sign in&#x20;
2. A sign-in window will pop up, then click on [CREATE ACCOUNT](https://smsrush.net/dashboard/auth/register) button as shown in the screenshot.
3. When you click on CREATE ACCOUNT button a new window will pop up where you have to insert your information

* Full Name
* Email and Password
* Insert a secure password and confirm it again
* **Select Timezone\*:** Selecting a timezone is very important and make sure you have selected the right timezone that you want to follow because your scheduled campaigns will be triggered according to that specific timezone
* **Country Code\*:** Country code is your default phone pattern and your number will be filtered/verified by the system for that specific country.&#x20;

If you have missed these configurations or want to change your time zone or country, don't worry, you can log in to your account and click on your profile icon to edit it. Just edit the details that you want to modify and click on the save button.&#x20;

# Whatsapp Marketing Automation

To send out Whatsapp Bulk campaigns you have to connect your Whatsapp account with SMSrush. You can connect either a personal Whatsapp account or business Whatsapp account. Follow the below procedure.

You can connect any Whatsapp account, but we recommend connecting a separate/new Whatsapp account for marketing purposes. You can also connect multiple Whatsapp accounts with SMSrush depending on the subscribed plan.

### How to connect your WhatsApp account

1. Sign in to your SMSrush.net Account.
2. Click on "HOSTS" in the Left Sidebar menu.

3. When you click on HOSTS drop-down menu will appear then click on "WHATSAPP"

4. A new page will be loaded where you'll see the list of connected accounts, if you're adding a WHATSAPP ACCOUNT for the first time then you'll not notice any connected Whatsapp accounts. To connect or add a new Whatsapp account click on the "ADD ACCOUNT" Button.&#x20;

5. A new window will pop up, giving you the option to link a Whatsapp account. Click on the "LINK ACCOUNT" button which will give you the QR code to scan it from your Whatsapp.&#x20;

6. You have 15 seconds to scan this QR code to link your Whatsapp account. Open Whatsapp on your mobile and go to settings to Add a device/ link a device. ![](/files/zr9UAiiRPbhoe0dEUbTQ)
7. &#x20;In the below screenshots, you can see how you can add a device when you open the Whatsapp app on your phone. We have added the screenshots for both Android and iPhone as well.

8. Whatsapp Allows you to connect up to 4 devices. If you already have connected your whatsapp account to 4 devices you can remove the connected device.
9. Once the Whatsapp Account is connected the page will automatically reload on your computer and it'll show you the connected device.

10. ### How To Control Whatsapp Sending Speed?
11. You can Edit each Whatsapp account to disable/enable receiving messages and random sending intervals. By default receiving messages and random sending intervals are enabled. To edit your WhatsApp account click on the pencil icon as shown in the below screenshot.&#x20;

13. Random Sending Interval is a feature that helps you to control the sending speed. It's useful to protect your account from getting blocked. You can insert the desired minimum and maximum time interval in seconds so that after sending every message it'll send the next message after a certain number of seconds. If you want to disable it you do that but it's not recommended.&#x20;

14. After making changes don't forget to press the "SUBMIT" button.

### How To Run Bulk Whatsapp Campaigns?

1. Click on WhatsApp in the Left Sidebar Menu
2. Then Click on Campaigns in the left sidebar Menu&#x20;
3. Click on "BULK" & run your campaign by selecting WhatsApp account or multiple accounts if you want to split the campaign evenly, select contact group, add your message

### How to create Auto Replies / Chatbots

To create Auto Replies or to make a Chatbot you need to create multiple auto-replies. To do so

1: Click on "ACTIONS" in the left sidebar menu and then click ok "AUTOREPLY" in the top right as steps shown in the below screenshots. Don't forget to choose a source as WhatsApp and select your WhatsApp account that is connected with SMSrush. Make sure receiving Chats are enabled for that WhatsApp account (You can enable or disable it under HOSTS > Whatsapp and edit that Whatsapp account).

# How to Import Contacts/ Manage Contacts List/Groups?

SMSrush allows you to import your customers contact lists within the dashboard so you can send them bulk sms or whatsapp campaigns.

### Steps to import the contacts

1. Create a group (mandatory\*).
2. Import contacts using an Excel file or Add them manually one by one.

### Importing Contacts

1. Sign in to your [SMSrush.net](https://smsrush.net) account.
2. Go to the "CONTACTS" section in the left sidebar menu.
3. There are three options under the Contacts "SAVED" "GROUPS and "UNSUBSCRIBED". To import contacts first, you have to create a group.
4. To create a group you have to click on "GROUPS" in the left sidebar and it's mandatory to Add at least one group because without that you can't even save a single contact.

5. When you click on the "ADD GROUP" button a window will pop up, give a Name to your Group and Submit it.

6. Your group will be created and a Unique "GROUP ID" will be generated for your group and which will be used in your excel file to import contacts into that specific group. Each Group has its own unique GROUP ID. In the below screenshot as you can see Demo group has GROUP ID: 9

7. Once the group is created now you can use your GROUP ID in the excel file to import your contact lists. To do so you can download the sample file as well
8. Click on the "SAVED" tab above the GROUPS tab or "CONTACTS" in the main menu and then click on "IMPORT".&#x20;

9. When clicked on the "IMPORT" button a new window will pop up that will give you the option to download the sample excel file that is supported by SMSrush. You to format your contact list accordingly. You can also download the sample file from [here](https://u-rl.li/smsrush-sample-contacts)

10. You can see the sample file, it'll help you how to format the excel file.

* **phone:** In the first column you have to add phone numbers with country codes including the + sign.&#x20;
* **groups:** In the 2nd column, you have to use the "GROUP ID" in which you want to import the contacts. If you want to save the contacts in more the one group you can use multiple groups Id separated by a comma.&#x20;
* **name:** In the third column, you can use the Full name of your customer/ recipient.

  If you are facing an issue make sure all three columns are formatted as text.&#x20;

* Click on choose file to upload your list and submit it.
* Uploading contacts can take a few minutes depending on the size of your list and it will give you a green successful message on the top left side of your screen. Numbers will be verified on the country phone format that you have selected while creating your account. So make sure you have selected the right country and it'll also automatically remove the duplicate numbers.&#x20;

#### **Excel File Format Guidelines (All Columns Are Required)**

**Column Details:**

* **Column A (phone)**: Enter phone numbers with the **correct country code** (e.g., `+1XXXXXXXXXX`). Ensure the column header is exactly **"phone"** in lowercase.
* **Column B (groups)**: Add the **unique group IDs** where you want to add the contacts. To assign multiple groups, separate group IDs with a **comma (,)**.
* **Column C (name)**: Add the contact's **full name**.

**Formatting Requirements:**

✅ All columns (**phone, groups, name**) are **mandatory** and must be filled in.\
✅ Ensure all columns are formatted as **Number > Plain Text** in Excel.\
✅ Save the file in **Excel (.xlsx)** format (**CSV files are not supported**).\
✅ Headers must be in **lowercase** (e.g., **phone, groups, name**).

#### **How SMSrush.net Ensures Data Accuracy:**

✅ **Duplicate Removal:** SMSrush.net **automatically removes duplicate phone numbers** during the import process.\
✅ **Syntax Validation:** Phone numbers are verified based on **country-specific syntax rules** to ensure accuracy and deliverability.\
✅ **One Country Rule:** At one time, you can only import contacts for **one country**.\
✅ **Profile Settings:** Ensure the **correct country is selected** in your SMSrush.net profile before importing the Excel file.

✅ Double-check phone numbers for the correct format with country codes.\
✅ Verify group IDs are valid and correctly separated by commas if multiple groups are selected.\
✅ Ensure there are no empty fields in the required columns.\

# SMS Marketing Automation

After creating your account on SMSrush.net for SMS Marketing you need to connect your android device. Now you'll learn how to connect an android device with your SMSrush account.

### How do you connect an Android Device/Phone with your SMSrush Account?

### Step 1: Connect Your Android Device

To begin using SMSrush for SMS marketing, you need to link your Android device to your account.

> 💡 **Note:** Your device must have an active SIM card with SMS balance, bundle, or credit. SMSrush uses your mobile network to send messages.

#### ✅ Requirements:

* An Android device with SMS capability
* An active SIM card
* A stable internet connection
* SMSrush account

### 🛠️ How to Link Your Android Device

1. **Log in** to your [SMSrush account](https://smsrush.net).
2. In the left sidebar, click on **"HOSTS"** and select **"ANDROID"**.
3. Click the **"ADD DEVICE"** button.

   A panel will slide in from the right, giving you two options to download the Android app:

   * **QR Code** – scan from your Android phone to download the app directly **(Recommended\*)**
   * **Download Button** – click to download the APK file to your PC and than transfer to your phone for installation&#x20;

### 📥 Installing SMSrush App on Android

Since the SMSrush app isn’t listed on the Play Store, you’ll need to allow installations from unknown sources.

#### Installation Steps:

1. Locate the APK file (`net.smsrush.gateway.apk`) on your Android device, probably in the browser's download folder if you haven't transferred it manually.
2. Tap on it to begin installation.
3. If prompted, **enable "Install from Unknown Sources"** (you'll be guided through the settings).
4. Tap **Install**, and allow device scanning if prompted — the app is safe and secure. If Google Play Protect blocks the installation, you will need to **disable Google Play Protect** to proceed.&#x20;

### 🔐 Permissions & Setup

1. Once installed, **open the SMSrush app**.
2. Allow **all requested permissions** (SMS, Contacts, Notifications, etc.).
3. Set SMSrush as your **default messaging app** when prompted.

### 🔗 Link the App with Your SMSrush Account

You can connect your device in two ways:

#### Option 1 – Email Login

Enter your **SMSrush email and password** used during signup.

#### Option 2 – QR Code

Scan the **QR Code** shown under **Step 2: Register Device** in your SMSrush dashboard.

Once connected successfully:

* Your device will appear in your dashboard
* You’ll see status indicators for SMS, Notifications, and USSD
* You can **enable/disable** each feature directly from the Android app

### How to control the sending speed?

SMSrush allows you to control the sending speed and sending limitation for every device connected with your account and you can also disable receiving SMS within the dashboard.

1: Go to "HOSTS > ANDROID" from the left sidebar menu

2: You will see the list of connected android devices click on the pencil icon to edit the desired android device.

3: Once you click on the pencil icon a new window will pop up to edit the device as shown in the below screenshot.

* **Device name:** You can change the device name.

* **Receive SMS:** Receive SMS is enabled by default. You can disable it if you don't want to receive the SMS within the SMSrush dashboard.

* **Random Sending Interval:** You can also control the sending speed through random sending intervals and it's useful to protect yourself from getting blocked by the carrier/network providing company. By default, it is on and the minimum time in seconds is 5 and the maximum is 10. This means after sending one message the next message will be sent after 5-10 seconds. You can either disable it or change the value it's up to you. If you're using multiple devices then you have to set it for each device separately.&#x20;

* **Sending Limit:**  You can also enable the daily sending limit for each device if you want to send a certain number of messages from each device every day or every month. Once that limit is reached SMS will not be sent from that device. By default this feature is disabled you can enable it if you want to control the sending limit.&#x20;

* **After making all the changes don't forget to press the "Submit" Button**

**How To Create Bulk SMS Marketing Campaign?**

To send bulk sms campaigns you have to click on "SMS" in the left bar menu and then click on campaigns as shown in the below screenshots, then click on BULK and create a campaign, Make sure your Android device is connected and the gateway show connected in the android mobile app.&#x20;
